Born 1982 in Ishikawa. Her initial motivation to paint came when she decided to make a picture book for kids in Kenya while visiting there in her college years. She uses African art style to depict pure and loveable facial expressions of the animals inspired by her time in Kenya.

1982年石川県生まれ。大学2年の春、2ヶ月間ケニアを単独訪問滞在中、子供たちに絵本を作ろうと思い立ったことが絵を描くきっかけとなり、帰国後から精力的に制作活動をはじめる。
