Born in Aomori. She attended Setsu Mode Seminar while working at stationery producer Pentel. Subsequently, she established herself as an illustrator after working as a staff member at Omotesando art gallery Rocket. She is active in several areas, including artworks for Clammbon live shows, book cover design, picture books, advertisements, and websites. Recently she has been expanding her creative activities in a wide range of fields, including the launch of "summia", an original brand with a focus on children's clothing.
青森県弘前市生まれ。文具メーカーの「ぺんてる」で働きながらセツ・モードセミナーに通う。その後、表参道ギャラリーRocketのスタッフを経て、イラストレーターとして独立。主にClammbonライブのためのアートワークをはじめ、書籍装丁や絵本、広告、WEB等で活動中。最近は、子供服を中心としたオリジナルブランド「summia」を立ち上げるなど、幅広いフィールドで創作活動を展開。代表作に書籍『世界がもし100人の村だったら』『やさしいことばで日本国憲法』（マガジンハウス）等がある。
