Born in Tokyo in 1975. Naho moved to the US after high school and studied illustration at Parsons school of design, New York. She started working as a freelance illustrator while at college and returned toTokyo after living in New York for 5 years.
With a simple line drawing style and a reserved use of colours, her work has become highly regarded for its sophisticated yet girly aesthetic. Benefiting from her experience of studying abroad, she now works for international clients including Anna Sui, New York, Vogue Italia Bambini and a Hong-Kongese Shopping mall, Harbour City. |
