Inspiration

日本とアメリカにルーツを持つLeni Kauffmanは、11歳で英国に移住するまで東京で育った。

ロンドンのCentral Saint Martinsでイラストレーションを学び、現在は活動の拠点をリスボンに移している。

Style

水彩絵具、色鉛筆、アクリルで描くこともできるが、現在はほぼiPadのProcreateで制作をしている。

人を描く際には様々な人種や体型をモチーフにすることが彼女のスタイルとなっている。

Profile

アメリカと日本にルーツを持つリスボン在住のイラストレーター。
2007年 Central Saint Martins卒業後、エディトリアルイラストレーションやアニメーションのほか、パターンデザインやポートレートなど幅広い分野で活動を重ねる。
彼女の彩り豊かな作風は、幼少期を過ごした東京やファッション業界への関心の高さ、そして旅への愛からインスピレーションを受けている。

Leni is a Lisbon based illustrator of American and Japanese heritage.
She graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2007, and has worked in a number of fields including editorial illustration, animation, pattern design and portraiture.
Her colourful approach to illustration is influenced by her childhood growing up in Tokyo, her interest in the field of fashion, and her love of travel.
