Inspiration

知らない世界、初めて目にする景色に心を奪われることが多い。太陽光をたっぷり浴びた強いコントラストや、日本にはないエネルギッシュな色彩、明るいパッションを感じる文化や人との出会いを求めて旅に出る。初めて一人で訪れた海外はメキシコ。いまも身の回りには、カラフルなアイテムが並んでいる。

Style

下描きの後、消しゴムはんこをパーツごとに彫刻刀で彫る。そこへアクリルガッシュで色をのせる際のニュアンスが、そのまま仕上がりの風合いとして現れる。完成までに何度か刷ることもあるが、転写時のパーツの位置や重なりまで含め、まったく同じ一枚は生まれない。水彩や色鉛筆を版画に加える作品も制作する。

消しゴムはんこイラストレーター。

1992年神奈川生まれ。女子美術大学ヴィジュアルデザイン専攻卒業。一児の母。

パッケージデザイン・ブランディング会社のデザイナーを経て、2017年からイラストレーターとして東京を拠点に活動を開始。

消しゴムを彫刻刀で丹念に彫り上げ、アクリルガッシュで色をのせ、紙へと転写する。すべての工程を手作業で繋ぐことで生まれる、体温を宿したような質感と素朴でのびやかな輪郭。さらに水彩や色鉛筆を重ね、版表現ならではの揺らぎに繊細なニュアンスを添えることで、多層的なテクスチャの中に物語性を吹き込んでいる。

Eraser-stamp print illustrator. Born in Kanagawa, Japan in 1992. She graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design with a major in Visual Design, and is now based in Tokyo. She is also a mother of one. After working as a designer at a packaging design and branding agency, she began her career as an illustrator in 2017.

Meticulously carving erasers with a gouge, she applies acrylic gouache to the block and transfers the image onto paper. By connecting every step by hand, her work takes on an almost body-warm tactility and a simple, expansive line quality. She then layers watercolor and colored pencil, adding delicate nuance to the gentle vibrations unique to printmaking and breathing narrative into richly stratified textures.
